My Tonga Branch Fish Only
After having a 750L pond in the shed, I will soon be moving the residents back into the house.
I've used mostly Tonga Branch for the rock work, and most are thick pieces like my wrist, some larger. Wondering if I cover the overflow with black acrylic or leave it be. For background I will have a big sheet of foam pvc board that I'll spray paint that can slide in and out. Flow will be 3 MP40s and Eheim 1262 return. Residents will be; Emperor Angel, Blue Tang, Lavender Tang, Saddle Butterfly, Yellowhead Butterfly, Lunar Wrasse, Banana Wrasse, Clown Pair. Maybe more Butterflies/Wrasse. I aim to fill it early next year! |

tank looks great. I personally would cover the overflow box. I just think it would look nicer.

Cheers guys! Might just get some black acrylic cut to size and silicone it on then. I'm looking forward to this more than any of my past builds, and it's my first FOWLR. The kids appreciate fish much much more than they ever did coral, and now we can get much more interesting pets.

180x75x55, to fit all the contents of the pond into it.

Yes cm sorry! Should be sorting the Eheim and plumbing tomorrow, shortly after that I'll skin the stand and use countersunk magnets to keep the panels on.
I will also sell my halides and use sun tunnels in stead (with led in between.) Just the cheap ones with flexible tubing. This can be done later when it's all running though. |

I wish I could but you simply cannot get the stuff anymore where I live. Bit unfortunate. I'll be taking LR across from my tub to put in the sump, maybe fill some gaps in the display.

Skinned the stand but going away for a month with work, should be ready to go once I'm back.

Water in! Leftover live rock had to go into the display as there was no more room in the sump. I'll pull it once it's done a bit of seeding. |

Haven't installed sun tunnels yet. That's just one led in the centre. It's a DIY that mimics the Lani led. It's definitely in the pipeline though as halides will cook the tank and power bill. Hitting 29 degrees last couple of days.
