• Low-High light, CO2 and Fertilizers are optional for faster growth.
• Medium growing speed, Grows quite large.
• Stem plant, so stick into your substrate and it will sprout roots.
• Trim and re-plant to grow more stems.

Trimmings do not come with roots, however aquatic plants melt their roots when introduced into new substrates and it is in-fact recommended to trim roots before planting them. For this reason trimmings are no harder to plant or grow and allow us to give you a better price.
Hygrophila Difformis grows differently under different lighting conditions. It has two main forms; with more “broken apart” leaves, like the last image or more whole leaves such as in the first image. The first version grew in sunlight for us while the second in an indoor tank with LED lights.
