This 1962 Trabant 601 Universal was imported from Germany to the US in 2016 and was acquired by the seller in December 2021. The car is finished in green over tan cloth and is powered by a two-stroke 594cc two-cylinder engine paired with a four-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes a rear tow hook, Hella driving lights, window visors, a rear window wiper, mud flaps, three-point seatbelts, lower dash storage, and manually operated windows. The carpets, brake shoes, ignition coils, and clutch have been replaced under current ownership and a tune-up was performed. This Trabant is offered at no reserve with importation documents, the owner’s manual, copies of build information, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.

The body is finished in green and features painted bumpers, a rear tow hook, Hella driving lights, window visors, a rear window wiper, and mud flaps. Steel 13″ wheels wear black center caps and are wrapped in 165/70 Condor Winter 4 tires. The brake drums, shoes, and wheel cylinders have been replaced under current ownership. A spare tire is stored in the trunk.

The front bucket seats are upholstered in tan vinyl with cloth surfaces, and the carpet has reportedly been replaced. Additional details include two-tone tan and black door panels, three-point seatbelts, lower dash storage, and manually operated windows.
