Pterygoplichthys gibbiceps (Leopard Pleco) is a species of ray-finned fishes in the family suckermouth armored catfishes. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to Ecuador and Peru. Individuals can grow to 50.0 cm. They have sexual reproduction.
