First Capture of European Flounder Platichthys flesus (Pleuronectidae) in the Southwestern Part of the Kara Sea

Abstract

In December 2019, European flounder (Platichthys flesus) individuals were caught for the first time in the southwestern part of the Kara Sea in the apex of the Kara Bay. This fact expands the range of the species to the east. The morphometric traits of the individuals are given.
