Nicki Minaj was forced to cancel her New Orleans show on Monday due to illness.

The announcement came via the Smoothie King Center's account on X, formerly Twitter, hours before the rapper was set to hit the stage.

"Due to doctor's orders, Nicki Minaj must reschedule her NOLA show tonight. As Nicki is still sick, our team does not want to run the risk of getting others sick, and Nicki would not be able to give NOLA the show they deserve," the announcement read.

A follow-up post asked concert-goers to hold onto their tickets as work as the venue is "working diligently to find a new date."

The musician, 41, first hinted at being under the weather early Saturday morning.

"Barbz pls send me healing energy. woke up feeling like I had Covid. Thank God I don’t. You guys are just everything. I appreciate you. I love you so much," wrote Minaj on X. In another post, she noted that her voice " is probably going to sound a lil diff."

She echoed the same sentiments while sharing photos from her performance at the Rolling Loud California festival on Friday, expressing that she was only able to hit the stage due to her fans' " love and beautiful energy."

"#RollingLOUD #GAGCITY thank you CALI!!!!!! I love you soooooo much!!!!! Your love & beautiful energy is a huge part of why/how I got through the show. This was a moment 4 LIFE!!!!!! Thank you," Minaj wrote on Instagram next to various photos from the festival. The artist is still scheduled to perform in Atlanta on Wednesday as part of her Pink Friday 2 World Tour.

Before the tour kicked off at the start of the month with a stop in Oakland, California, Minaj told her fans that it would be her "best tour by far."
