See 160 pieces of Banksy-inspired art both notable and lesser known works. His powerful graffiti is his creative commentary on major topics such as poverty, corporate greed, war and injustices in society. His art made the world stop and wonder for years and it still has the same effect on people today!
His sarcastic take on serious issues is what strikes viewers. “Girl With Balloon” is one of his most famous works and a heart-breaking scene of a red balloon escaping the grasp of a little girl’s hands with the words “There is always hope” written next to her.
In the most Banksy fashion, when the piece was auctioned off for over one million pounds a mechanical shredder in the frame completely shredded the artwork. In pieces, the new piece was humorously named “Love is in the bin.”
