Bloom characteristics: Erect inflorescence is up to 7" (17.5 cm) long with several waxy, long-lived, yellow flowers. Flowers are 4" (10 cm) across.
Fragrance: Sweet
Pollination syndrome: Bee (Euglossa)
Description: This large orchid is often found in association with pit viper's nests.
