GRASPE Conference – Psychosocial risks at work with Danièle LINHART

March 13 @ 12h30 - 14h30

With us

Danièle LINHART is a French sociologist specialising in changes in work and employment. She is an emeritus research director at the CNRS, a member of the GTM-CRESPPA laboratory and a member of the editorial board of “La Nouvelle Revue du Travail”. She is also a member of the Observatoire du Stress et des Mobilités Forcées (Stress and Forced Mobility Observatory) at France Télécom Orange and in companies, where she denounces new management methods that cause suffering among employees.

Danièle LINHART works on corporate modernisation and managerial strategies, changes in the workplace, new ways of mobilising employees and the place of work in society. She is also interested in job insecurity and employment, developing in particular the notion of ‘subjective insecurity’. This notion reflects a feeling of unease and uncertainty in one’s work, as a result of the individualisation brought about by recent managerial strategies.

Part two: The sociological aspect of PSR

  • A conflict of interest over the legal definition of the term “psychosocial risk”.
