Temperament: Norman’s Lamp-eye (Aplocheilichthys normani) is a peaceful, schooling fish. Norman’s Lamp-eye should be kept in larger schools of at least 8. They will become very stressed if kept in smaller shoals.

Company: Keep in mind they grow small so keep with other small and peaceful fish; dwarf cichlids, tetras, cories, some plecos, and some killifish all make good tank mates for Norman’s Lamp-eye (Aplocheilichthys normani).

Keep them in normal conditions and the male and female should be seen displaying to one another. After breeding remove the parents as they will eat the eggs. The eggs will hatch in about 2 weeks.
