The snake plant is a popular and hardy houseplant with stiff, sword-like leaves. It's available in different varieties, many of which have green-banded or striped leaves with a yellow or cream border.
This attractive, easy-to-grow houseplant tolerates drought and low light, making it the go-to option for beginners. This low-maintenance container plant tolerates a range of growing conditions.

Care Guide:
Water your snake plant when the soil has completely dried out, then water deeply. During winter, check the plant's soil mix every two weeks or so—the plant might need to be watered only once a month. If you notice its leaves are brittle and dry, water immediately.
During spring and summer when the plant is in active growth, watering every two weeks or so is usually sufficient.
Snake plants grow best with eight to ten hours of indirect sunlight or a few hours of early-morning direct sunlight.
Snake plants grow best in warm temperatures between 70°F and 90°F. Keep plants away from cold drafts.
Please note that due to seasonal availability and plant varieties, your snake plant may not look exactly like the one pictured here. This plant will arrive in a plastic planter pot for easy transport and repotting.

Most florists offer same-day hand delivery, but may have different order received cut-off times for same-day delivery that are based off of the recipient’s time zone. Florists that offer same day delivery display their same-day delivery cut-off time in their store detail section. Orders received after that time may be delivered the following day. Please note some florists may not make deliveries on Sunday.
