wireless card 1704
Inspiron 3542
My inspiron 3542 has the Dell DW 1704 wireless plus BT 4.0 card. Since this card has intermitted connectivity with my router is there any other compatible half height card with both WI-FI and BT capabilities? The Intel AC 7260 HMW card has also BT?

Yes, that card is a combo card with WiFi and Bluetooth.
Since there are no drivers at your laptop's driver location you may need Intel's.

Update, I installed an Intel AC 7260 and it operated with the first switch on of the laptop and without installing any drivers. It is very fast. Thank you very much.
