I've grown to love IZ' music since my first trip to Hawaii. He had such an angelic voice, & the melodies are beautiful. This CD has some of my very Favorite songs. I already have this one, and I'm giving this as a gift to someone who will no doubt love it, also. IZ music is a wonderful way to chill out.

I had never heard this Artist CD before, the only thing I knew was it has the only version of "Over the Rainbow" I have ever liked in my life on it. I set fourth to find out about the Singer and the CD it was on. When I found out it was Israel IZ Kamakawiwo'ole , then I started looking for the CD with "Over the Rainbow" on it and that is when I came to "Alone in IZ World". This is the most beautiful CD I have heard in many, many years. IZ's voice is so pure and smooth, it can give you goose bumps on one song and then make you feel like floating on the next song . His Voice Touches Your Heart and Soul. His version of "In This Life" brings tears to my eyes. I think everyone should have this CD in their collection!
We recently returned from a vacation in Hawaii and I purchased this CD to bring back the memories. I first heard IZ on our way home from a day on the Road to Hana. It had been a long day and we were on our way back to the hotel at dusk, about an hour’s ride. We were on a van tour and the tour guide put this music on and let us unwind. What an incredible experience! Riding home with the sun setting on the horizon, Hawaiian music filling the van and everyone just put their heads back and enjoyed the moment. I was searching his many CD’s and decided on this one and every time I play it I can close my eyes and relive the moment in Hawaii, sometimes while looking at the photo album. I bought this CD as a replacement for my original one, which I lost. I absolutely love this artist. He was such a wonderful person and an inspiration to all of those who were fortunate to have met him. His influence on the islands of Hawaii will never be forgotten. You can go into any shop on the island of Kauai to this day and hear this CD being played, this many years after his death! As a new resident of the island, I just couldn't go a day without hearing his wonderful voice, He and Hawaii are synonymous with one another!!
I love Izrael kamakawiwoole. Its ashame he passed so young he Family passed young to. Morbid obesity so so sad. He voice is like a Angel now he sings with them. God Bless his Family. We are blessed to have his Beautiful music. His life story such a strong man. He had words of wisdom.
