Miocene Fossil Oak Leaf and Cypress Frond Plate - Idaho

This is a fossil oak leaf (Quercus simulata) and cypress frond (Taxodium dubium) association plate that was collected from the Miocene age Latah Formation of White Bird, Idaho. The frond measures about 1.9" long and the leaf is about 2.4" long. The dark brown coloration of these fossils contrast nicely against the light brown rock.

It comes with an acrylic display stand.
