Low-Energy Aquascapes
Our most popular style of aquascapes are our ‘low-energy’ designs. With highly detailed hardscapes and careful plant selection, these aquascapes are designed for maximum impact whilst requiring minimal maintenance. We plant these with low demanding plants that are easy for beginners to grow. This style of aquascape only requires a water change each week, and the occasional plant trimming.

High-Energy Aquascapes
Achieving certain styles of plant growth, such as as lush green carpets, requires strong lighting, CO2 injection and aquasoil substrate. These aquascapes require more attention in their early days as it takes more time to achieve a balance between lighting, CO2 and plant growth. However, once a balance is established high energy aquascapes function as stable, healthy ecosystems inside a glass box.

Paludariums
Pauldariums are landscapes combining terrestrial and aquatic sections together, often with flowing water. We can create paludariums in all shapes and sizes. Our two most popular paludariums are our desktop waterfalls and our open-front paludarium tanks.
