Il est chroniqueur pour Paris Match, notamment lors d'événements concernant les familles princières ou royales. Il a été à trois reprises candidat à l'Académie française, sans succès.

A good book to dig into Louis XIV's reign. It's not too deep, or very academic but you still find interesting details and anecdotes.
It's difficult to analyse people's writing from the time because they hardly seem partial when writing about the King.
