For instance, at a park, watching from afar, a father pretending to 'get' ("I'm going to get you, rrraaghhh") a young child while playing, my CP becomes very concerned, may even bark and try to go over to the father. |

I'm had a CP for 11 years, bought him from Rock of Ages. Theses are large powerful dogs that need training. He took to training both obedience and personnel protection training quickly. Very smart breed and affectionate. They are not submissive and will need to be out and around other people and dogs experiences. My CP never barked just to bark, there was always someone around. You will definitely know when someone is too close or the CP is agitated. My CP was male and 130lbs. It's an amazing breed with Training and exercise being the key. |
