Scary! Hair-dye allergy made this guy go from that to this
For everyone who doesn't believe in doing that hair-dye allergy patch test, here's your lesson.
Every time you open a box of hair colour and throw away the instruction manual, without doing the recommended patch test, you put yourself up for major risk. A Korean guy documented his hair-dye allergy on Ruliweb and the pictures will make you send silent prayers to the one above.
Behold, the pictures might be too graphic for some of you.
After the hair dye job, his head started swelling from one side.
However, as the swelling kept increasing, he realised he needed proper medical care.
His condition continued to deteriorate, and ultimately, he couldn't even open his eyes properly.
However, he didn't let that stop him from taking cute selfies.
Thankfully, he's totally recovered now and back to being his spunky self.
Turns out, a lot of people are allergic to paraphenylenediamine (PPD)--a substance found in hair dyes and that's the very reason, a patch test is always recommended before full-fledged application of such products. Skipping a simple step can land you in so much trouble!
