The red-bellied pacu (Piaractus brachypomus ) is a cousin of the piranha,but red bellied pacus are not aggressive fish and,although Red Belly Pacu outwardly resembles the Red Belly Piranha, it is a different species. The Pacu is a herbivore.

Who is suitable for eating red pacu?

Generally speaking, as long as people with good health and a moderate constitution can eat red pacu, it is especially suitable for middle-aged and elderly people. It can lower cholesterol and prevent cardiovascular diseases.
