I dont really pay attention to the meanings much anymore, im going through a phase were lyrics are starting to dissapoint me more and more (im not keeping death metal bands in mind for this particular comment :laugh. So anyways, im musically really impressed by some of the atmospheres evanescence can create

If your are going to listen to an Evanescence song listen to "Away From Me."
It'll be hard to find seeing as it was on thier first album "Origin" but i think its class.

I didnt know any rock bands with female singers before Evanescence...but of course theres always Garbage.
But theyr nowhere near as good as Evanescence!
