Growth Form Emergent aquatic plant.
Foliage Green, smooth leaves are elliptic with entire leaf margin. Leaves have parallel, longitudinal veins which are prominent.
Stems The stem is angular and smooth.
Flowers White, saucer-shaped flowers are composed of 3 round petals and a cluster of yellow, short stamens.
Cultivation This plant can be grown along ponds, but care must be taken to cut back excessive growth.
