Journey of Stichodactyla haddoni anemone !!!

This is probably the biggest risk I took for my reef tank but I had to do it since j been wanting to red carpet anemone ...

Any ways I found this thing online and pulled the trigger ....got this anemone last Friday via mail ....I was expecting large size but not this huge extra large big beauty ..acclimated it for about a gud 2 hours and placed it at the designated spot ....

Right after when he was in my tank
Under 2 blue t5s

4 hours later foot has been planted
Under blue and purple t5s

Day 2nd under 400 watts halides

As u see my mcclouchi didn't wait to jump in

This anemone extends about a gud 18" wide ....these r iPhone pics as I am too lazy to take macro shots takes for ever for me to get the right pic lol...
Well today I notice my anemone doesn't look more on the pinkish side than red ....it does hve dark pink spots and tentacles that looks really pink than red ....
I hve googled a lot of info in pink carpet and found that to be more of bleached red and I could be wrong but it does looks pinkish red to me specially the rim ...
What Do u all say ..
Its 4 th day so far after shipping ..I hopes it colors up more bright

Day 6th
Anemone's mouth seems a bit getting tighter .....no feeding yet halides runs for about 6 hours a day ...I been increasing half hour every day until I reach 10 hours a day ..

Going on over three weeks now ....carpet has shifted few inches from where its was attached but still a beauty ...

Just an update on this carpet . He's been growing like crazy and coloring up nicer day by day .
Any ways I took some macro shots and I suspect this to be on a little rainbow side

I measured him last week he is roughly around 23" !!! Beast
