Kim Kardashian West revealed to fans that her daughter North is currently obsessed with the Disney Channel Original movie The Cheetah Girls, which we obviously totally understand and support considering we felt (and feel!) the same way about the classic movie. But North is one lucky kid, because Kim actually has several real-life ties to one of the best DCOMs of all time.

Kim reminded us of these connections when she posted a snippet of the movie to her Instagram Stories, noting that her brother Rob once dated actor and Cheetah Girl Adrienne Bailon around the time and could have united the Kardashians and the Cheetah Girls into the most powerful family of all time. But she wasn’t done there.

Kim also revealed that she and the girls made a HORROR MOVIE while they were on tour in 2008, way back in the day. “So North requested we watch The Cheetah Girls movies tonight!” Kim wrote on Twitter. “And I found something really special... when they were on tour we made an epic horror movie called Meow and I found it on YouTube.”

The truth is, nothing really ever goes away once it’s posted to YouTube, and a fan immediately dug up all three parts of Meow, as did Kim. It’s a parody of classic slasher flicks like Halloween, and Kim apparently dies about a minute into the movie. (Her character, true to form, is named Princess.) Rob Kardashian, who was dating Adrienne at the time, shows up too, and there’s a “murder” scene featuring a mannequin head that will definitely make you LOL. Three of the Cheetah Girls are part of the film — Adrienne Bailon, Kiely Williams, and Sabrina Bryan — and give some very convincing performances, though, uh, we’re not surprised this movie wasn’t picked up by Disney as an official sequel.

Fans were pretty excited about North’s new obsession and the important discovery, saying, “Oh my god Northie likes Cheetah Girls? TASTE.” Others were quick to say that the movie itself was pretty bad, but they couldn’t stop watching. We have to say, it’s the perfect time capsule and makes us wish for a new Cheetah Girls movie … just one with less murder, please.
