Sofia Vergara undergoes the Peggy Bundy makeover we've all been hoping for

Hey, Al! It looks like Peggy is back.

As you obviously remember, before Ed O'Neill had a Modern Family, he was Married... with Children.

On the FOX sitcom that ran from 1987-1997, O'Neill played a disgruntled shoe salesman named Al Bundy who basically dreamed of having everything O'Neill's Modern Family character Jay Pritchett has: success, money, respect, and a hot wife who adored him. Of course, instead of that dream scenario, what life dealt Al was this:

A bon bon-loving, brash, and big-haired Peggy Bundy. And being former kids who loved the dysfunctional family (that included Christina Applegate) we are so excited to see that Sofia Vergara is bringing Peggy back.

The actress posted the pic above to her Instagram account on Wednesday. She didn't give any clues to why exactly she was in the getup, but she did reference her current TV hubby.
