“The Cheetah Girls: One World” (2008) Galleria is now at college in England, leaving the group short one Cheetah and down on their luck. While having dinner, Chanel gets a phone call offering them the chance to star in what they believe is a Hollywood movie. Dinner turns into dinner and a show as they celebrate this opportunity and it’s not long before the whole restaurant is on its feet. Like many Cheetah Girls songs, “Dig a Little Deeper” shares a positive message about taking control and making things happen - all to a beat that makes you want to get up and dance right there with them!

#9: “I’m the One”

“The Cheetah Girls: One World” (2008) This song definitely shows the cattier side of the group. Chanel the singer, Dorinda the dancer and Aquanetta the actress compete to win the starring role in ‘Namaste Bombay’. This song manages to take the tough themes of tension and jealousy and use them as fuel for an upbeat melody that you’ll want to play on repeat. Each girl gives it her all as they sing about why they should be chosen for the leading role. Even while competing, the Cheetah Girls give us a compelling ensemble performance. It might be tearing them apart, but boy is it catchy.

#8: “Together We Can”

“The Cheetah Girls” (2003) This song is our first introduction to the Cheetah Girls. while it certainly proves memorable, with multiple things going wrong throughout their performance, it’s not the best first impression. Ever the professionals, they still manage to come together for the end of the song. It seems like their audience enjoyed the show too - even if it proved a bit more humorous than girls would have liked. It may not be the most polished routine, but right from the start, the Cheetah Girls’ motto is there loud and clear for everyone to take hear, see and learn from: as long as you have your Cheetahs by your side, there’s nothing you can’t do.

#7: “Step Up”

“The Cheetah Girls 2” (2006) As the girls prepare for their Barcelona debut, ‘Step Up’ takes us into the rehearsal room where they are preparing to put the Cheetah Girls on the map. We follow them from rehearsals to the night of the show where their hard work has clearly paid of. The audience -both in the club and at home- are loving their performance. In fact, this song was such a hit that it peaked at no.6 on the U.S. Billboard Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles and no.84 on the US Billboard Pop 100.

#6: “Girl Power”

Top 10 Girl Power Songs

“The Cheetah Girls” (2003) This was the second single released from the film’s self-named album. This power anthem is a clear declaration that the Cheetah Girls know who they are and won’t let anyone try to change them, regardless of how hard Jackal Johnson might try. After the greasy agent comes up with a whole new image for the girls - one so far removed from who the Cheetah Girls are that they would be unrecognisable- the girls put on this show of strength. It’s a great, catchy and empowering tune, and one that stays stuck in your head thanks to an important message.

#5: “One World”

“The Cheetah Girls: One World” (2008) In true Cheetah fashion, the group puts their friendship first and manage to score a part in the film together. This song is a huge celebration that unites everyone together to sing, dance and party their way through the movie’s set. Fittingly, upon its release, the film’s soundtrack album found success across the globe, charting in Italy, Mexico, the UK and on multiple US charts, and the title track was its lead single. The choreography combines The Cheetah Girls’ commercial style with Bollywood moves, while the bright and colorful visuals add a whole other dimension, pulling you into the action.

#4: “Cinderella”

“The Cheetah Girls” (2003) Hold onto your seats because this song isn’t actually a Cheetah Girls original! While they may have put it on the map and made it Radio Disney’s Song of the Year in 2006, this tune was originally sung by short-lived girl group, i5. Who knew? In the film, the girls use it to audition for the school’s talent show where they hope to be the first freshmen to win the event. The lyrics subvert the traditional fairy-tale for a more relatable narrative. When this song starts playing, just try to sit still, we dare you. Not so easy, is it?

#3: “Strut”

“The Cheetah Girls 2” (2006) If you could capture wanderlust in a song, this would be it. In keeping with the song’s title, the girls strut their way down La Rambla, the old city and Park Guell; they even bust a few moves outside the beautiful National Art Museum. Instead of making the city just the backdrop, this song gives audiences a taste of how stunning Barcelona truly is. If you’ve been, then it’s a great way to be reminded of your favorite spots, and if you haven’t, we guarantee you’ll be looking up flights by the time the song ends.

#2: “Amigas Cheetahs”

“The Cheetah Girls 2” (2006) It’s not a Cheetah Girls film without a show stopping finale. ‘Amigas Cheetahs’ is a song about friendship sung to a tune that just screams fiesta. From the melody to the choreography, it’s clear that the city heavily influences this song and it’s not long before everyone wants to join the party. We never actually find out if they win the competition, but since this fiesta moves from the stage to the streets with the audience in tow, it seems a safe bet that they’ve got it in the bag. Before we unveil our top pick, here are a few honorable mentions. “The Party’s Just Begun” “The Cheetah Girls 2” (2006) “Dance Me If You Can” “The Cheetah Girls: One World” (2008) “No Place Like Us” “The Cheetah Girls: One World” (2008)

#1: “Cheetah Sisters”

“The Cheetah Girls” (2003) It’s impossible not to get up and dance to this song. This ultimate friendship anthem, “Cheetah Sisters” is the perfect reminder that true friends will always be by your side no matter what. The girls make up over this song and it’s not long before they draw attention from many passersby. This tune also has the best dance break in the entire movie as everyone gets swept up in its incredible energy and its charismatic singers. Nothing says girl power stronger, louder or prouder. Growl power for the win!
