Camera fell off... Was run over by the ATV. The legs popped off at the neck of the tripod. I popped it back on & just like new. Still working fine lol.

It covers all my needs and suits very well to the tasks I wanted.
At Death Valley I made the mistake of shoving it into a sand dune to prop the camera up for a timelapse at the top of one of their sand dunes. Unfortunately, the sand had magnetic properties, so it stuck to the bottom of this tri-pod and it was literally impossible to clean it all off. There is still some on the bottom of the tripod a month after the trip. The grains are so small it is difficult to grab them with anything and the magnet keeps it stuck to the feet of the tripod. It kind of took the gimmick of magnetic feet, and made them a pretty bothersome downside. I thought I'd like them, but they have been more nuisance than asset.
Anyways, the tripod is solid and I am going to use it on another vlogging trip this weekend. I do recommend it. But if you're like me and think the magnets are going to be potentially life changing -- you should probably think again. It is just another Joby Tripod.
It's very durable and the knuckles are just as stiff as their bigger brothers' (a good thing). Also, the magnetic feet are very much worth the extra few dollars and I wish the larger ones offered the same feature because they allow you to use any metal surface as a cameraman (car, sign, lightpost etc.).
It is only suitable for a small point and shoot cameras however and even small mirror-less DSLR's are too much weight for it to handle (i.e. Canon EOS-M).
