I have mine mounted with a GoPro hero 4 with the extended battery pack. I had it gripping the handle bars on a 24v ATV.
Camera fell off... Was run over by the ATV. The legs popped off at the neck of the tripod. I popped it back on & just like new. Still working fine lol.

It's tough, but tiny!
The Joby Gorillapod 325 is tiny so please see the photos for scale to make sure it fits your use-case . Joby's customer service is terrible, but I still swear by their tripods and this little guy is no exception!It's very durable and the knuckles are just as stiff as their bigger brothers' (a good thing). Also, the magnetic feet are very much worth the extra few dollars and I wish the larger ones offered the same feature because they allow you to use any metal surface as a cameraman (car, sign, lightpost etc.).It is only suitable for a small point and shoot cameras however and even small mirror-less DSLR's are too much weight for it to handle (i.e. Canon EOS-M).
