ATP Cup: Guccione / Peers beat Krawietz / Mies - Germany lost 0-3 to Australia
The German team has to admit defeat host Australia 0-3 at the start of the ATP Cup. Andreas Mies and Kevin Krawietz lost the final double against Chris Guccione and John Peers in two sets.

Used day for the German team around team captain Boris Becker: At the start of the ATP Cup, Germany lost to Australia 3: 3 - French Open winners Kevin Krawietz and Andreas Mies were also unable to ensure their first victory in the ATP Cup , The two lost to Chris Guccione and John Peers 3-6 and 4-6.
Jan-Lennard Struff and Alexander Zverev had previously suffered bitter defeats. Struff lost to Nick Kyrgios 4: 6 and 6: 7 (4), then Zverev lost a clear lead over Alex de Minaur and ultimately had to admit defeat in three sets .
So Germany is already in Group F on Sunday in a duel against Greece with their backs to the wall. The Greeks also lost their opening game 0-3 - Canada turned out to be too strong .
