Syiignat/iHs actis ist bis jetzt in der Ostsee noch nicht mit Sicher- heit beobachtet. Wir führen sie an, weil sie von vielen Schriftstellern, welche sie mit der vorigen Art verwechselten, irrthümlich als Bewohner der Ostsee angegeben wird. Aufserhalb der Ostsee ist Syngnathus aciis ebensoweit verbreitet wie Siphonostouia typhle. Im Kattegat ist sie nicht selten beobachtet.
